Grey Matters Online Store : Recreational Math : Magic Squares : "One Knight Tour" Magic Square
At first, it appears to be a souvenir T-shirt from a concert tour. Once you look closer, however, you find that it is a semi-magic square (semi-magic, because the diagonals don't total the same as the rows and columns) whose rows and columns each total 260!
Even more impressive, stopping halfway on any row or any column will always total 130! The back of the shirt details even more impressive features of this unique magic square.
Probably the most impressive feature, though, is that a chess knight, using only it's standard L-shaped move, can land on every single square in numerical order!
(BTW, this very same square is the Knight's Tour Path you can learn to memorize in our
Train Your Brain and Entertain software.)
