This picture was taken at dawn, an unusual time for me to even be up. But I knew Bryce Canyon National Park would be spectacular at sunrise, and it did not disappoint this early bird.
The scale in the photograph is a bit deceiving here. The hoodoos would swallow up a human being. Even if there were one down there, something so small might get lost entirely in the image.
