Somewhere in Oklahoma: A Route 66 highway shield and two bright yellow center-lines are painted onto a blue, blue highway. Well, the highway's not really blue. And the center-lines aren't really that vibrantly yellow, but the shield is there, marking the path of the old Mother Road through the heartland of America. The rest is photoshop. This image has appeared in a variety of publications and ad campaigns. My favourite is as the cover of an Italian edition of Jack Kerouac's infamous book, "On the Road."
