Where the money goes
The net proceeds from this store support the GivingPictures program. The majority of the money you spend on products goes to CafePress, the company that operates this storefront, produces the customized products and fulfills and ships your orders. We add a small amount to the base cost of the items, in most cases a flat $4.00 USD, which becomes our margin. Your purchase price is the base cost amount plus the margin, usually $4.00 per item. 100% of the net margin produced from sales at this store is used to support the GivingPictures program.
About GivingPictures
GivingPictures produces and provides, free of charge, an on-site photo of people in developing nations who have never before possessed a photo of themselves, their family or their children. In short, we find people in remote areas who have never held a photo of themselves or their children and then we give them one.

About Live This Life
While we were exploring Japan in 2004 I saw a young guy, probably in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a tshirt with "Live This Life" on the back. I thought it was a perfect outlook, a perfect operating philosophy for life.
It is much too common and all too easy to get caught up in the every day activities, strife and struggles of life and become blind to its treasures. It is much too easy to become stuck in a rut or caught in an endless go-to loop in life and miss out on all it offers. It can be easy to get fixated on others' glamorous or exciting lives and ignore the beauty of our own. It is much too easy to defer our dreams to a later time and never give our lives a chance to bloom.
The young man's tshirt reminded me of a very important life reality, perhaps the most important life reality: This is not a dress rehearsal. We only get one shot, one chance, one time around in this life. Make your chance count.
Really live your life, live it to its fullest extent possible. Live this unique life. This is your one time, your one chance. Celebrate, experience and explore life and all it has to offer.
