When Arnold Schwarzenegger and our monkey-see-monkey-do media coined the phrase "girlie man", they meant it as a slur for anyone who doesn't conform to the right-wing ideal gender roles. Or anyone who just plain disagrees with them.

'girlie man' t-shirts and goodies are for fashion-aware boys and girls of every orientation, gender and transgender who are too proud of who they are to let closed minded people give bad names to beautiful things.

Girlie man - We're taking it back!

My dream is that many people will buy and wear these 'girlie man' designs and instead of “girlie man” being a way for the right-wing to frame their intolerant policies and culture, we’ll take it back and make it cool. After all, why is it shameful to be girlie?

Not everyone can be a girlie man. It's not about gender, it's about pride. It's NOT about weakness and it's not about shame.
