What was the biggest cultural event of 1998? The one thing everybody remembers when they see the numbers 1, 9, 9 and 8 together, in that order? Simple. "Furbies." Hands down. No contest. But after that, what? you'd have to admit that after the Furby craze, when most people think of 1998, they fondly recall landfills and bonfires full of post-Christmas Furbies. But just put the Furbies aside for a minute. Jesus -- enough already. Give it a rest! Somewhere on the list, for some of us at least, the release of this CD was a pretty big deal.
