FreeTheBlank is a CafePress shop to change the world, one t-shirt (or bag, or mug) at a time. Current causes include climate change (FreeTheAir), over-the-counter birth control pill (FreeThePill) and U.S. drug policy (FreeTheWeed).

The designs are fresh and clear, made to encourage dialog, not preach.

FreeThePill--One out of five American women report that the cost of a doctor's visit is an obstacle to obtaining prescribed contraceptives. Birth control pills are safe and studies have shown that women are good at self screening against contraindications. Let's make the pill available without prescription and let all women take control of their reproductive lives.

FreeTheAir --Fighting global warming by changing our bad habits is not only good to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that trap heat in the atmosphere and threatens our planet, it's also good for our wallet.

FreeTheWeed --The U.S. policy of "waging war" on drugs for the past 40 years has been a failure on all fronts. It has failed to reduce drug consumption and failed to dismantle drug trafficking organizations. We must review this strategy and explore other options, such as marijuana decriminalization, which would at least stop burdening our prison system with non-violent offenders guilty of possession of small amounts of the drug.
