Lil Boosie's Arrest, Trial, and Incarceration

As you already know, Baton Rouge Rapper Lil Boosie, also known as Torrence Hatch, is locked up in Dixon Correctional Institute, located in Jackson, LA. Lil Boosie is pending trial for the murder / murder-for-hire of Terry Boyd, as well as two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution, three counts of posession with intent to distribute narcotics, and three counts of conspiracy to comit posession with intent to distribute narcotics. The district attorney may be seeking the death penalty for Boosie. His girlfriend, Walnita Decuir has also been charged in the incident relating to smuggling contraband into a prison. Lil Boosie entered his plea of "Not Guilty" and his attorney, as well as his fans, strongly believe in his innonce. Boosie (and other co-conspirators, including Michael "Marlo Mike" Louding) is also allegedly under investigation for the murders and paying others to commit the murders of fellow Baton Rouge rapper Chris "Nussie" Jackson amongst others. Boosie's lawyer, Marcus Allen, is a very comptent, well-established, and accomplished entertainment industry attorney from Lafayette and is being joined by a team of several other Louisiana lawyers. While Boosie is behind bars, he is still releasing albums. Lil Boosie - Incarcerated His first CD from jail, scheduled to be released September 28, 2010 under Bad Ass Ent. and Trill Ent.
