Celtic Cross CollectionCeltic crosses crafted in delicate knotwork appear to be engraved into marble, granite, oak, leather and other natural materials, to complement any home or office decor and add to a Celtic collection. While the Celtic cross pattern itself is not complex, its construction is - with its single strand looping from twist to turn, to form a complicated weaving which surrounds an empty space to form into the shape of its cross. Each of the Celtic cross patterns is designed to represent a particular Irish County, in its spirit, coloration and material, drawing on history and lore to find its style and rhythm. A few of the patterns are shown below; County Waterford is featured to the left. Other patterns are available within the store aisle. |
