About our logo:
The new Fako America logo sports a GLOBE, which recognizes Fako elements all over the world and the collective experience, creativity and energy that they bring towards the new Fakocentricity. The globe also means that Fako people are part of the family of humanity and contribute towards the well being of that family.

The TWO MAIN PEAKS of our mountain country are recognized: the giant Fako and the smaller Mount Etinde. The symbol of the two peaks is the right to coexist. A child deserves to be fully realized within a family; so does an ethnic nation within a larger country or region. It is possible for that larger entity to exist without infringing on endangering the existence of the smaller entity.

The SWATH represents the spirit of cooperation and family that ties together all Fako people.

The predominance of RED in the symbol represents the element of fire, the vigour of youth and renewal. It represents the Bakweri renaissance as we revisit, learn, revive and sharpen our culture and make it relevant to our children and the future.

FakoAmerica wants to make this logo available for the use of Fako elements and groups all over the planet. All that is needed is to change FakoAmerica to the name of your group. On request, a logo will be prepared for you.
