It is funded by donations and educational programs such as riding lessons. ERA operates a horse shelter in Tulalip, Washington. ERA cares for a continuing herd consisiting of 15-25 horses in permanent or temporary residence. ERA makes it possible for horses too old to be placed in private homes to live out their lives safely and comfortably.
