FÁILTE ISTEACH! Welcome to ÉIREANN85, the new store that gives the LairMistress of Kari's Lair (linked from the logo) something to do with the old photos from my undergraduate Irish Studies program besides leaving them to get hopelessly stuck in scrapbooks. The older images are from my collection taken while I was studying in Dublin during 1984-95; the more recent images are from my second-ever trip across Ireland in March-April 2006! They include lucky encounters with thrilling scenes indeed--most notably the Giant's Causeway and surrounding beaches on the Antrim coast; hillside ruins near Killybegs, Co. Donegal; and hillside overlooks on Galway Bay. Hopefully, my next trip won't take another 21 years to pull off!
