More Information

This album is dedicated to Daniel Yohe, our former whistle player. His leaving the band because of his call has already been felt and he will be missed. In this album Easter Rising has enjoyed experimenting with a new sound. In the tradition of the great Irish musicians before us Easter Rising has blended traditional Irish music with bluegrass and a touch of soul. We have come to term this "Folk'N Roll, Irish Soul." In combination with some of our more widely heard tunes, this album features several songs never performed but still in keeping with Easter Rising's sound. Special thanks goes to Andy LeDoux for many of the photographs. John Egan for album mastering. Bassline Studios, a great recording studio in Omaha. And Peter Hansen for Graphic Design.
