Eagleturtle Creative : Fly Mart Art : Global Flyer
The Global Flyer launched from and landed at Salina Kansas twice, setting two of three world records. With one other flight, Cape Canaveral to Kent, the flyer set three records before being donated to the Smithsonian. Designed and built by Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites, flown by Steve Fossett, and financed by Steve Branson's Virgin Atlantic, this aircraft shows what the spirit of adventure and the genius of engineering can do.
