The Rottweiler is a large powerful and incredibly strong breed, and as such are often seen as guard dogs and working dogs. As a pet, the rottweiler can be trained to be gentle and warm, making a great family dog and protector which will combine strength with a calm personality. Obviously they can be aggresive, especially with other dogs, but well trained they are wonderful pets.
