How "CUTE
CLOTHES FOR PUNKINHEADS" came to be--
As can be seen, I'm talking about sweet little babies with cute round heads--and toddlers and older kids too, of course!
You see, I was up in the wilds of Alaska for 30 years, I mean way out, 200 miles from town living a subsistence lifestyle trapping, hunting and living off the land, far from family, kids and the love they impart.
Now down in the States visiting, I'm constantly surrounded by a gaggle of grand nieces and nephews with all their profound antics and observations. I'm spellbound as I watch them grow day by day, realizing something new with each moment that passes.
What is evident to me is we can learn as much from our young children as they do from us--and I must say, they have the high ground in this matter. From us they learn (for the most part) the worse of life as we live it--from them we get unquestioned love, trust and acceptance of all that we are, an unpretentious realness that heals and instructs as we watch.
