The China Support Network is the original group, from 1989 (post-Tiananmen Square), that was of grass roots Americans helping support Chinese democracy and the cause of Chinese pro-democracy dissidents. We function as the American arm of the Chinese democracy movement, 'though we've added many members who are Chinese, Tibetans, or overseas. (Yes, we value grass roots support everywhere.)
