Tag your images - Get your images seen by your target audience

The best advice for "Tagging" images is to be descriptive and try to use as many Tags (keywords) as makes sense for your design. One of the exciting things about the new Search is the narrowing feature, which allows users to drill down from the main category to sub-topics to find what they are looking for.

For example: Dogs -> Pets -> Breeds -> Terrier
If you have all these Tags in your image, you will show up in every category for this search.

Here are some quick tips for Tagging:
  • Describe physical and emotional attributes of your image.
  • Describe the opposite of your image using anti-, un-, pro-, etc.
  • Use the Marketplace Stats and Suggestions (under the Tag box) to help you.

You can add Tags on up to 20 images at a time, based on how they are organized in your Media Basket. To do this, just go to your Media Basket, select all images on the page, and choose "Add/Edit Tags: All at Once" from the pull-down menu.

Tip:
Before using the Bulk Tagging Tool, organize the images in your Media Basket using folders. To do this, go to "Edit Folders" in your Media Basket and create your folders here.
