He publishes these works, along with five of his trumpet methods, through his own, home publishing business called "Tiger Music".

Eddie's experience as a music educator includes over twenty years as a private trumpet instructor, five years as a jazz improvisation consultant for Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, three years as an orchestration instructor for the Summer Jazz Workshop and an ongoing list of various clinics, master classes and workshop appearances. Of the hundreds of trumpet students he has worked with over the years, many have gone on to become accomplished players themselves, performing professionally in capacities ranging from ska bands to national musical theater tours; from cruise ships to brass quintets.
