"For that which befalleth the son of man,
befalleth the beasts; even one thing befalleth them; as the one
dieth, so dieth the other, yeah, they have all one breath;
so that a man has no preeminence above a beast; for all is vanity."

I have been drawing and painting ever since I was old enough to know I could make marks on a flat surface with a pen, pencil, paint brush or anything else I could get my hands on and my subjects were always animals.

It's my personal belief that I didn't choose to be an animal artist - it chose me. With every painting I strive to improve my skills. I also spend as much time as possible around horses and animals in wildlife park as I have found that helps me add that "spark of life" into the drawing.

My hopes for the future is that I can continue creating paintings that inspire respect and appreciation for the members of the animal kingdom that share the earth with us.
