One day, we'll look back with fond memories and have no regrets for we have lived life to the fullest sharing the journey with our family and friends. It’s important to remember this so that common speed bumps don’t trip you up along the way. No matter what happens, as long as you cherish what is truly important then you have lived a good, blessed life.

I owe my strength and passion to my family, especially my wonderful husband and daughter. Spencer Photography is the combined efforts and passion of Heather and Steven Spencer. Photography is what even brought us together. My camera stopped working and he fixed it. Our love of photography is what brought us together and it continues to bring us close as a family. My daughter developed the love as well. Photography is such an important part of our lives as exploring allows us to bond as a family.

Spencer Photography and Design is a love of mine. I have enjoyed setting up all the categories to feature our ever expanding collection of photographic prints. I especially love our floral prints which I have further separated by colors and have included color meanings. Each color has its own set of benefits that will help people in different areas of their lives. What better way to incorporate this than to display a beautiful floral print of your chosen color?


1. New Additions is a good place to stop if you’ve been to our store before. We update the store with a new photographic print or design daily. This section will point to some of the new additions and also showcases some of our favorite newcomers.

2. Photographic Prints and Gifts is where you can find our traditional styled photography. From camera to product these are nature at its finest. With 15 different categories to choose from you are sure to find a photographic print that will add beauty to your life. New photographs are being added on a daily basis.

Ever expanding is our floral prints as we continue our journeys through the botanical gardens in Norfolk. We are working on a transportation section and fall in PA to showcase the beautiful colors of fall.

3. Artistically Altered was created to offer something fresh and new to you as photography on apparel often looks its best with some fun borders, layers and masks. Come see the fun designs we now offer! Currently there are 11 categories full of designs made from our original photographs.

Flowers take on an interesting green glow when converted to a negative image in our Alien blooms section. Borders and masks add charm to several of my favorite images.

All of our photographic cut outs can be customized! If you find a design that you like and would like it customized with a name, saying or other text, let us know and we will create a custom gift for you!

4. People Matter! is full of designs that are there to raise awareness. Currently we are raising funds to combat family homelessness and breast cancer. More causes will be supported as this section grows.

As a case manager at a homeless shelter I know that one person can make a difference in the lives of others. Every year 600,000 families with 1.35 million children experience homelessness in the United States. What are you doing to make a difference? When you purchase any item from People Matter, money will be donated to an emergency fund to help families out of homelessness and into housing.

Our breast cancer designs will also make a difference in the lives of women everywhere. With the purchase of our breast cancer designs, money will be given to charity with a specific focus on Breast Cancer health, education, and awareness.

5. This Nerdy Girl is a fun section full of mostly text based items that should tickle your funny bone.

6. My Creative Kid are designs for children. This section will be featuring my daddy/ mommy is a (DJ, doctor, etc). This section is still very early in the works but will have a bunch of fun designs and bright colors that kids will be sure to love.

7. 12 Months is for all the wonderful holidays throughout the year. We are busy adding designs for the upcoming holidays! In our Christmas section you'll find a cute snowman with some fun sayings, a lovely green Christmas tree decorated in yellow and red and some trees at night. Our tree lovely frogs are also dolled up for Christmas with Santa's hat.

We have a section with gifts for her. Some of our beautiful floral images have had wonderful sayings about motherhood added to them to create a gift that mom is sure to love!

8. On location photography is where to go if you are interested in hiring a photographer to record a moment in your life. Steven and I are photographers in the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Book us now for your very own “Storybook Creation”. Create a one of a kind keepsake for your children by placing them into their own fairytale; send a book to your loved ones overseas or a holiday story.

You choose what type of story you or your loved ones will have.
