Shopkeeper Adam Erace is a food writer and restaurant critic in Philadelphia. When his editor had a baby boy this year, Adam (a baby clothes novice) went hunting for a gift, looking for cool clothes for babies with foodie parents. Trekking around Philly, hours in Children's Place, decoding the sizes of children's clothes. Nothing fit the bill for this baby. So Adam decided to use his education in marketing and graphic art to make something himself. Sashimi Baby was born: apparel for the urban baby with discriminating taste.
Pictured on the site is Adam's goddaughter Allie Scicchitano. Allie, a foodie in training, enjoys oatmeal and mashed sweet potatoes. Adam's working on getting her to try foie gras.
Adam also operates YO11 Tee Shirts, dedicated to the stupidity of Terrell Owens.
