School curriculums need to change to prepare children for an oil depleted future. Especially, children should be taught how to grow vegetables using heirloom seeds.

Hello

I live in Karamea, New Zealand with my husband and daughter. I became 'peak oil aware' in June 2004, and was bowled over by it for a few months.

I decided I wanted to do something to help raise awareness, by way of graphics.

I wanted to use the peak oil bell curve from the site at www.hubbertpeak.com, so I sent an email to ask for permission to the contact address at the Hubbert Peak website. Ron Swenson replied saying "Please feel free to publicize the issue and the website as you see fit, such as putting www.oilcrisis.com. on the t-shirt." So that's how it started.

You're welcome to download these images for use on posters, fliers, newsletters, websites or anything you like, from www.peakoilaware.org

Thanks for visiting.

With the help of people from around the world we're slowly getting the designs translated into other languages. If you'd like to help in translating the messages into another language please contact me and I'll send you a shirt in exchange.

Minibuttons with "Peak Oil Aware" on them are also now available as single buttons, in tens or in 100s (they can be re-sold for fundraising and to help spread awareness).

Cafe Press can post things anywhere in the world. However, in terms of sustainability and getting the message out, please contact me if you might be interested in setting up small-scale local production and sales of tshirts with these designs in your part of the world.

Thank you for visiting Peak Oil Aware. Liz
