The aethereal FORGE is a loosely aligned group of artists, writers and other individuals working primarily in the areas of online content and Role-Playing Game design and development.
Michael Fiegel is the co-founder of aethereal FORGE and creator of Ninja Burger. If it involves words, and it involves the FORGE, chances are he's had his dirty little fingers in it somewhere. Michael's background is as varied as any you're likely to find, including: traditional print media (writing, editing and layout for newspapers, entertainment magazines, and news weeklies); broadcast media (radio copywriting and production, video scriptwriting and editing); advertising (print ad and catalog copywriting, ad layout and design, creative direction); and new media (website design, Internet marketing, online content). Lately he's been busy blowing away years of education by writing & designing RPGs.
Key aethereal FORGE projects include the following:
Ninja Burger, the world's only fast food restaurant run entirely by ninja. Originally conceived between 1999 and 2000 with a group of aethereal FORGErs, the site has gone on to great acclaim, spawning a Role-Playing Game from 9th Level Games, a line of apparel, a host of fan sites, a card game from Steve Jackson Games and an employee handbook. And there's a screenplay around too, if you know someone who knows someone. You know who you are.
darkpark is a humor website that's been resurrected more times than we can count. It started off as a repository for dark links, and wound up being a portal for dark stories, including the popular Blackbird. Then it went away for a while. Now it's back as an undergound humor website with offbeat sensibilities that pulls no punches. We'll probably get sued pretty soon. Check us out before that happens.
