My name is John and my hobby is crafting model ships and boats, including the study of maritime life.
I do not sell any of my models. I make them for the enjoyment of myself, family and friends.

The Ship Modeling Forum is an extension of that hobby where model shipwrights (wood, static, scratch, kit, scale, plastic, resin, pond, bottle, Radio Control, etc) from all over the world come to discuss our mutual interests.

We try to establish a friendly place where fellow hobbyists can exchange ideas, discuss techniques, talk about modeling problems, and in general - enjoy our mutual hobby of hand crafting model ships and boats.
