Kelli Bickman / Neil Gaiman Collaboration

Kelli Bickman is a multi-media artist. She grew up on a farm in Minnesota, studied art in Wisconsin and London and then moved to the West Village of New York City in 1995. When she isn't traveling the world, she resides in Woodstock, NY. Clients include the Integral Institute, UTNE Reader, Shared Vision Magazine, Information Week, Silicon Alley Reporter, Digital Coast Reporter, NY Spirit Magazine, Conscious Choice Magazine, Budweiser, Harper Collins, Darwin Magazine, The Sound of Film (Knitting Factory), CMJ Music Magazine, Minnesota Medical Magazine, Herbal Creations Teas, and Wired Magazine (to name a few). Bickman has exhibited her art in many galleries in the US and Europe and her work also appears in numerous private collections. Selected Awards: 2007, Integral Institute, featured artist 2006, 'Very Cool' webdesign, 2004, Art in Public Places library mural, Jacksonville, FL 2001, MTV showcased artist, Times Square, NYC Bickman is working with her mother on a book containing 'Mom' Bickman's photographs from around the world and 'Daughter' Bickman's paintings and sculptures titled "Demons & Deities". The book will also contain musings, stories of vision quests and much love. Life has brought many wonderful opportunities to Kelli. Not only has she traveled the world extensively, she has been fortunate to study with several spiritual masters, including H.H. the Dalai Lama, H. H. the Karmapa, Geshe Micheal Roach, Soygal Rinpoche, Gurumukh, Satish Kumar, Khenpo Karther Rin poche and Traleg Rinpoche. The influence of these masters and teachers is apparent in her new work, as seen on this website. Her first book of images called What I Thought I Saw: New York - London was published in 1996, with an introduction by Neil Gaiman. Kelli believes deeply in the statement 'thoughts create your reality.' This reminds her to be mindful and to embrace the joy of creation.
