Brandi Jasmine is an illustrator, photographer, writer, web content developer, intuitive consultant and astrologer. She began her career by hand painting t-shirts in a small shop on Vancouver BC's fashionable Robson Street. Later, she moved to Ontario, and it was here that she developed an interest in computers and Internet technology. While Brandi is proficient in watercolour, fabric-painting line-drawing and painting, she currently works primarily in the medium of digital drawing, photo-painting and photography. Most of her work is entirely "painted" on computer, with the assistance of a variety of digital tools. Brandi's artwork has appeared in Pets & People Magazine, and in various web sites on the Internet. Her cartoons and illustrations appear in The Internet Starter Kit by Internet Direct, digital artwork and photographs have appeared in LOOKTown and Toronto Computes! along with articles on Photoshop and a variety of digital cameras. Selected digital animations appear in "Mastering Dreamweaver 3" by David and Rhonda Crowder. Brandi was the featured illustrator for the 2003 American Media "Zodiac" Calendar, in distribution October 2002.Brandi's artwork draws from a wide variety of styles and subject matter. Her fantasy and mystical style is influenced by the works of Maxfield Parrish and Wendi Pini.
