AmeriYank's Graphics Farm was born from my desire to give away graphics I created. Soon, it became apparent that I had to support this effort with some way of making money. So, I joined Cafe Press, opened "AmeriYank's AmeriWear" at http://www.cafepress.com/ameriwear , and began selling t-shirts and other items to pay the bandwidth and other fees associated with running a free graphics site. Since my injury, I am unable to work at a 9-5 job. This has become my main source of income.

After the devastating tsunami in December 2004, I wanted to do something to help. And, for a long time, I wanted to open a new shop which would sell items with spiritual and religious designs. So, I combined those two goals and created "Mary and Jesus", at http://www.cafepress.com/maryandjesus . Some proceeds from that shop are donated to Catholic Relief Services for tsunami countries. The flags of the 12 countires effected are also sold at that shop.
