Debra Coppinger Hill is the manager of the family brood mare operation at the 4DH Ranch in rural Oklahoma where they raise American Quarter Horses and Paints with an emphasis on cutting and ranch work. The 4DH stands an Own Son of Doc O'Lena and an Own Son of Doc's Sug. You can see the 4DH horses at http://www.4dhranch.com

In addition to her duties around the ranch Debra writes, performs and teaches Cowboy Poetry and Western Culture. She also writes a weekly syndicated column "Riding Drag" that appears in rural publications and on the web all over North America. Debra's photography includes many images of ranch life. Horses, cattle, ranch scenery, cowboys and cowgirls are all subjects of her photographs and poetry. Her photos are in private collections world-wide and are featured on several web sites.

She has been honored by the Academy of Western Artists with the Will Rogers Award for her poetry and has recieved a State Citation for performing Cowboy Poetry on the floor of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. She has taught Cowboy Poetry and Western Culture across North America and Ireland, where she was honored with a showing of her Cherokee Bead-art at the Gerard Manley Hopkins Institute.
