Description: Read and enjoy! With this cookbook, you'll be cooking like the world's best editors.

Synopsis:

The CE-Lery (aka denizens of the Copyediting-L e-mail list) are some of the most intelligent, detail-oriented, and helpful people around. Of course, you'd expect nothing less than a fine and sure hand in the kitchen from such folks. In this cookbook, you'll find their favorite recipes for everything from Cheese Scones to Green Chile Bread Pudding, from Tomato Pie to "Mom's on Deadline" Tortellini, from Myke's Escargots a la Romaine to Plummy Mushrooms, from Moambe to Killer Jambalaya ... and even recipes for potpourri and drain cleaners. Choose from 225 recipes provided by 96 contributors from around the world. Generous folks that they are, the CE-Lery are donating all profits from cookbook sales to charity: All profits from sales of items in this store, including the cookbook, are donated to the Grace Meredyth Lovegrove Scholarship at Christopher Newport University, in memory of the daughter of CE-L member Richard Lovegrove.

Creator of the Logos

The Copyediting-L logos were created in December 2004 by Lisa Grabowski, a graphic artist with more than 20 years' experience,
from an idea suggested on one of the CE-L lists by member Mark Wise in April 2004. She has counted among her clients an assortment
of large advertising firms, pharmaceutical/health care promotion agencies, and graphic design companies. The products she's illustrated
for these agencies' clients have ranged from hamburgers to hospitals, dog food to drugs (over the counter and prescription),
and candy to communications. Grabowski, owner of LG Design, is a lifelong resident of New York State's Long Island.
You or your employer can contact her about projects by e-mail. (Note: The "I edit, therefore I live" design was created by
CE-Lmate Katharine O'Moore-Klopf. The "It's not my book" designs were created by CE-Lmate William Blinn.
Conversion of some artwork for use on dark shirts was done by CE-Lmate Joy Freeman.)
