Prague is magnificent. Spared from the bombs during the wars, its architecture is the best preserved and the most elegant I have ever seen in Europe. Historical buildings of different styles often sit side by side, Art Nouveau facades here and there, creating an endless visual feast for my eyes. And there is the phenomenal astronomical clock at the Old Town Hall with interesting symbolic figures that move by the hour.
My number one favorite, however, is the statue lined Charles Bridge over the Vltava. I happened to be there during a storm and was just about to curse my bad luck, when the late sun light suddenly broke through. It is a photographer's dream to have come across such dramatic light over a city that is so incredibly beautiful.
