Belgium was my last stop in an extended three months trip in Europe. Exhausted, I still found myself in renewed energy to explore both Bruges and Brussels. I was lucky enough to be at the heart of Brussels during its biannual show of the famous rose carpet.
In Bruges, the pointy gilded architecture of Flemish style inspired me to look at the buildings from different angles, from far and up close, or from another roof-top. I also enjoyed watching the shadows cast from one row of building to another. The shadows kept on moving mov as the day went by, creating interesting geometric patterns at different time of the day.
