Italy is a photographer's paradise. From the tantalizing hill top of Bellagio to the elegant mansions along Lake Como, from the historical Venice to the near-by island Burano with colorful walls, Italy offered me endless photographic opportunities. The highlight is Venice, where I spent one week wandering around from one alley to another with my cameras, taking the vaporetto (water bus) back and forth many times. On the night of our return to Munich, there was an unexpected railroad strike, which gave me an excuse to stay for another day.
