Hiking in the Swiss Alps was a change of pace in my three months' trip in Europe. It was an escape from the real world. Deep down in the valley is Gimmelwald, an idyllic small town of a little over 100 people, yet it has the biggest street sign I have ever seen that points to a dozen directions.
A boat ride in Interlaken was relaxing as well. One of the pictures I took from the boat was of children playing by the lake shore in the distance. A friend told me that the scene reminded her of a dream she once had. Perhaps, it looks vaguely familiar to you too.
