More Information

Review from Fight Amnesia! By Janis of Into The Abyss: Besides being active as an artist whose dark and ghastly drawings are inspired by A. Crowley, Norse mythology, fairy tales and spirits, Peter Emerson Williams also runs the band VEIL OF THORNS, which musically supplies Peter's dark and gloomy imagery. The music is a combination of Alien Sex Fiend-like keys, forceful and dancing drum machines plus aggressive Goth guitars and distorted Big Black/Birthday Party-like basslines, in front of which stand the dark, powerful and occasionally harsh and screaming vocals, which give the whole an additional originality. VEIL OF THORNS prove that dancing (Electro-)Goth can be of the very innovative sort!
