Chien Mechant is the logo store for Chien Mechant/Bewareof the Dog design. I do custom art, from photography to oil painting of dogs and other pets. I specialize in italian greyhounds and sighthounds. A portion of all profits, both from CafePress and from my design goes to the IGRF, the Italian Greyhound Rescue Fund. My mascot/muse shown on much of my merchandise is Tippytoes, my first foster i.g. who I met in January of 2004, and adopted in April of that year. Tippytoes got sick in January of 2005, and she was diagnosed with a liver shunt. After a very long surgery and recovery, I'm happy to report my muse is now in perfect health and inspiring people and dogs around the country. Tippy was awarded her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) award from the AKC, and also passed the TDI (Therapy Dogs International) test less than two months after her surgery, on April 5th of this year. Tippy is now a registered, working therapy dog! Never underestimate the power of a rescued dog!!! Support IG and purebred rescue!
