Note: I am including some of these designs on Infant/Toddler clothing as well... If you need a smaller size or a recovery shirt for after surgery which includes a closure for the back (Possibly useful for rear leg amputations) these should be just what you need after a bit of clipping and a quick seam or two. - If you do this, I'd LOVE pictures/instructions/tips to share with others!
About a year ago, I found great instructions for this, but today could only find one blog, where the onesie is being altered into a tee-shirt, and not keeping the useful flap... It's still a great start for you crafters!.
