Welcome to Calimel Cares 'Portuguese Water Dog Art for Health' fund raiser. Founded in 2004 this health initiative was developed to raise funds for PWD cancer research.
100% of net proceeds from the sale of items on this site go to the Portuguese Water Dog Foundation (www.pwdfoundation.org/), earmarked for cancer research. According to the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America (www.pwdca.org/), "Cancer is currently the number one cause of death of Portuguese Water Dogs. It is also currently the number one non-traumatic killer of dogs in general."
