Richmond Virginia Traffic Lawyer Bob Battle spends almost every day in traffic courts in Virginia. Bob Battle has also moonlighted as a professional comedian for 20 years. Fed up with his state's new "Civil Remedial Fees for Traffic Convictions" which added huge mandatory fines to the already harsh criminal designation of certain speeding offenses and made his home state the "home of the $3,550 speeding ticket," Battle used his wit to design this protest t-shirt.
The front of the t-shirt suggests a more appropriate replacement to Virginia's state motto "Virginia is for Lovers" and reads "Virginia is for Speed Traps!" The back pays homage to Sammy Hagar's rock classic and reads "I Can't Drive 65."
