BoakArt : Great Depression Art
These images were created by us, the citizens of the United States via our government during the Great Depression. The NRA (National Recovery Administration) and the WPA (Works Progress Administration) were large government programs intended to help the country out of the Great Depression. The other images were created by the WPA's Federal Art Project, which produced numerous beautiful posters, among other things. The "New New Deal" logo is, of course, a new variation of the original NRA logo, commenting on the large government interventions following the Credit Crisis of 2008.
