The first wave of sticker graffiti art is believed to have been created in 1987 by pop.ac (formerly known as Art Collart), a Hamburg artist. However, since then, it has become a worlwide phenomenon giving birth to global slap tagging campaigns like "Obey Giant" and "This is a Heavy Product".
