The Book House St. Louis

The Book House has been providing St. Louis, Missouri with new, used, rare and unusual books since 1986. Our brick-and-mortar store, located at 9719 Manchester Road, is housed in a century old house with its own cat... and ghost! Our internet store (just click our logo!) features the thousands of titles that just won't fit in the house. Since 2006, proceeds from The Book House have supported the Second Chapter Life Center providing youth and young adults of all abilities with housing, meaningful work, and community outreach activities.
