A key to teaching is an understanding of what the learner already thinks, and how instruction impacts their ideas.

We are developing and disseminating tools (the Biology Concept Inventory) to assess student understanding of basic biological principles, with the goal facilitating more effective instruction and deeper student understanding.

All profits go toward that project, mainly paying for student interviews.
