Biomedical Digital Libraries will provide a forum for discussion of the unique considerations of biomedical information needs, and both opportunities and constraints presented by health care settings. The research results of collaborative initiatives with information technology and informatics partners are appropriate and encouraged.
Biomedical Digital Libraries is published by Scholarly Exchange (www.scholarlyexchange.org/). Scholarly Exchange is a facilitator, not a publisher. Their role is to assist scholarly journals while promoting free and open access to scholarly knowledge. They are developing new ways to sustain e-journals, and we welcome their support and collaboration.
