The Dancing Ferret
Once you're in Bordertown, head for Carnival Street in SoHo, where you'll find the neighborhood's oldest and most famous music club, The Dancing Ferret, run by a Border wizard named Farrel Din.

Danceland
Danceland is at the very end of Ho, but it's worth the trip. The Factory is older, the Dancing Ferret is trendier, and the Wheat Sheaf is more exclusive. But Danceland has the old magic.

Elsewhere Books
Elsewhere Books is one of the best bookstores in B-town, and the bulletin board at the back is a must for anyone seeking anything from a drummer to a squat to spare parts for your vintage 1921 Indian.

Hard Luck Cafe
The food depends on who is doing the cooking, but it's usually good, occasionally great, and for classic B-town atmosphere it can't be beat.

Taco Hell
Taco Hell is Soho institution for all the best reasons: it's cheap and cheerful, and the beer is blessedly cold.

Khandromas
In mythology, a khandroma is a Tibetan goddess described as a female embodiment of enlightened energy. In Bordertown, it's a female skate gang who ride instead of "Bash", led by Deki.
