Douglas Adams's "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" was, by far, the funniest radio series ever created. The books based on that series were also a total hoot. Even the low-budget BBC TV miniseries that was based on the radio series and the books was a blast. As for the recent Hollywood movie, well, at least they kept some of the original jokes....
