Welcome to the Barn Quilt Shop. The products and images here are a celebration of the Barn Quilts (a.k.a. Quilt Barns), that have sprung up across much of the country. This shop is new, and still very much under development. Designed to be a place to share the Barn Quilt Blocks from each state and county, this shop will open with some traditional quilt blocks that many of us are already familiar with. Help me to spread the word to those organizations that are not currently on board. There will be a newsletter, and a blog, and there is a separate web-page in the works with a wide range of information, links and new product. Stay tuned as we celebrate the art of the community, and the art of community.

In return for permission to put an existing barn quilt pattern here, any not-for-profit organization (be it a county arts council, governmental committee, church or civic group), that is engaged in the creation, construction, installation or maintenance of existing or future barn quilts, and that can rightfully claim the right to reproduce those images, is eligible for a contribution from the Barn Quilt Shop of 5% of my selling price. If an individual barn quilt owner grants permission for that quilt block to be displayed and sold here, then that contribution will still only go to the participating non-profit organization.

I know that I don't have all of the states represented here, and I have not yet started to list the counties and art councils, but I will. If there is a pecking order, it will be those that ask for my attention. I have seen plenty of fine looking barn quilt patterns, and would love to put yours in this shop.
