The Bangor Humane Society

The Bangor Humane Society is an independant, non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of pets through education, advocacy and quality care. We are located in Bangor, ME and rely on the public for over 60% of our funding. We care for over 5,000 animals each year, help low income individuals spay and neuter their animals, advocate for animal rights and humane treatment, and give homeless animals a safe place to live while they wait to find forever homes.
