Welcome to the Autactivo store. Here you will find products that speak out against autism erasure in all its various forms. Autism erasure at worst is about research that seeks the annihilation of autism as a variant of humanity in future generations. Autism erasure at its most mild is the attempt to silence the autistic adult community or to attempt to turn autistic children into "normal" children. Either way, the message is that autism and autistics must be defeated. But we are here to stay. Each of us is unique, like the snowflake. We will not be pidgeonholed, suppressed, or silenced. Our voices will rise above those who seek to defeat us and cure us against our will, or those who want to stamp out autism in future generations. Some autistic teens and adults, however, DO wish to be cured. I differ from the autism activist community in this respect: I respect the right of every autistic to have a voice and a say in this debate. If autistic activists do not want to be silenced, then they should not seek to silence autistic voices who beg to differ with them. My stance is one of mental freedom and self-determination, supporting the rights of all autistic individuals to self-advocate in whatever way they feel is appropriate for themselves.
