Atkinson's Vintage Roller Derby- STUFF

Roll back the clock with our retro Atkinson beauties from the past! The Atkinsons are arguably the first family of Roller Derby, headed up by Buddy Atkinson, Sr. and wife, Bobbie Johnstone. Three generations of Atkinsons have graced the banked track. Buddy Atkinson, Sr. were most closely associated with the New York Chiefs, although they got their starts with the Bronx-Philadelphia team, which later became the Philadelphia Panthers. As with most skaters, they skated for about every team in the league at some time or the other. Buddy, Sr. was the infield coach and genral manger of the Chiefs in the IRDL's final season. The Atkinson's owned a tranning school in the 70's. Most of our designs are vintage stuff from the Roller Derby good old days. The Red, White and Blue skater logo was an idea on paper from Bobbie Jonhstone Atkinson. Now with a little help from her granson and photoshop -an picture editing tool we can give you some great gifts. Most of my Roller Derby designs have front and back logos on them. Find yours now!
